Itinerary

Day 1: Depart for Portugal

Air travel from your country to Portugal

Day 2: Arrive in Lisbon

Arrival at Lisbon airport. With transfer to the Hotel, meet your Tour Guide for presentation, and Welcome dinner in a restaurant in downtown Lisbon.

Day 3: Lisbon, Belém, Sintra

Discover de Heart of Lisbon, you´ll view the Tagus River,  Eduardo VIII Park, São Pedro de Alcântara, Nossa Senhora do Monte.

Enter in the most fascinating Lisbon´s history and visit the St. George´s Castle and the Lisbon´s Sé Cathedral. Discover the Lisbon Downtown and know everything about the rebuilding of a city devasted by a earthquake. Stop at Comércio Square and visit the recent opened  Triumphal Arch rooftop.

Belém - Visit the great monuments that honour the golden age of discovery . Enter inside the Jeronimos Monastery, ascend at the top of Belem tower.

Sintra is a charming village located in a Natural Park with castles and grand mansions. It´s a Unesco World  Heritage site.

Visit the historical centre of Sintra where you can see the beautiful old streets and take pictures of the national Palace of Sintra. Then you continue to Pena Palace , the most extravagante palace built on a rock at 500m altitude.

Day 4: Évora, Lisbon downtown

Évora is a historic Portuguese city that lies in the heart of the Alentejo region. There are many outstanding tourits sigths in Évora , and the best are: The Templo Romano,  The 13th century Cahtedral of Évora, The Chapel lined with the bonés, the  16th centuty aqueduct .

Lisbon downtown overview   See the Santa Justa Elevator and Carmo Church ruins. Learn about the the great Lisbon earthquakeof 1755. There are a few places to visit like the Baixa Chiado, Arco da Rua Augusta, Terreiro do Paço, Rossio.

Day 5: Fátima and Tomar

Fátima is a religious city . Discover the history of the chapel of the apparitions. Explore the architectural diversity of the Basilica of our Lady of the Rosary of Fátima.

Tomar - The city of Tomar was founded by the Knigths Templar in the 12th century on land granted by Portugal´s first king  Unesco World Heritage Site.

Visit the Convent of the Order of Christ ,  TomarCastle, Tomar Synagogue, Old town, Republique square.

Day 6: Coimbra, Porto

Coimbra  -  First capital of PortugalYou can see the first portuguese University (1290) and one of the oldest in the europe, churches, Monasteries, Medieval streets and Arches, pátios etc.

Porto   -   Located next to the Douro river, Porto is one of the most interesting cities of Portugal.

Porto has been declareted by Unesco as a World Heritage Site in 1996.  The city has been founded in the 4th Century. Visit the Praça de Batalha, walk through Rua Santa Catarina. Café Majestic where JK Rowlling spent many hours writing Harry Potter.

Enjoy a panoramic view of the city from Miradouro da Vitória.

Library of Lello & Irmão, which is known as one of the nicest libraries in the whole world, and take a walk through the ribeira next to the Douro River.

Day 7: Porto city Tour

Explore the city of Porto, visit the exterior of the Cathedral of Porto and visit the São Bento Station.  Relax on the 6 Bridges Panomaric Cruise in the Douro River, in a typical Rabelo boat.

You may visit :  Café Majestic, one of the most historic places in the city, where JK Rowlling spent many hours writing Harry Potter and the Library of Lello & Irmão witch is known as one of the nicest libraries in the world.

Visit Port houses, including cellars and taste diferentes types of Porto and learn about the history and production of port in the Douro Valley.

Day 8: Depart from Portugal
